Savin Yeatman-Eiffel is a writer, director and producer - and the founder of French animation studio Sav! The World Productions.

Savin Yeatman-Eiffel wears all three hats on the hit animated series "Oban Star-Racers" (2006), aired in more than 90 countries worldwide, including Japan (NHK BS1) and the USA (ABC Family & ToonDisney), which he wrote, produced, directed. This ambitious series, skilfully mixing traditional 2D and top-notch CG, action-adventure and emotions, is a very rare case of artistic collaboration between Japan and the West. Savin and his team lived and worked in Tokyo for more than 2 years, in perfect osmosis with their Japanese collaborators. "Oban Star-Racers" (2006) won several awards, including an Anime Land Award and the Grand Prix du Divertissement at the Polymanga convention. It was nominated for a British Academy Award.

For Sav! The World Productions, Savin also directed TV commercials (Milo for Nestlé) and short films like Squat (1999) or Molly, Star-Racer (2001) (winner of a LEAF Award, nominated at the Imagina Awards), as well as animations for company clients such as the political spoofs Droites Park and Les Barbacentristes for French TV show Nulle Part Ailleurs.

For other companies, Savin Yeatman-Eiffel wrote close to a hundred episodes for various animated series, including "The Magician" (1999) and "Dragon Flyz" (1996) (for which he also wrote the bibles and was the story editor). He also took part in a number of short films as writer (the stop motion animation special La peur du loup (2001) - Lutin 2003 of the best animated short film), camera operator, producer or sound engineer (NY, the Lost Civilization (1997) - Michael Moore Award 1997).

Savin studied film making in the UK as well as in Paris, at La Fémis. Throughout the years, he has lived and worked in France, the UK, the US and Japan.
