Rush vector

Rush is a giant, Viking-like racer who, despite his intimidating appearance, is a very friendly, good natured person. His star-racer is the Stone Crusher, and he wields a heavy pickaxe-chainsaw for boarding his opponents ships.

Biography

Alwas Cycle

Rush's first appearance is in Hostilities Break Out, when Molly nearly gets run over by his star-racer on her way to get engine liquid. Later in the episode he appears during the opening ceremony. Rush has another brief appearance in Cruel Like Ceres, where he joins Prince Aikka and Marcel in watching Rick doing a practice flight in the Whizzing Arrow II.

Rush is officially introduced in Treacherous Like Toros as one of the six pilots who made it to the Playoffs on Alwas. In Resistant Like Rush, he competes against the Earth Team in a target race and proves himself to be a tough opponent, but ultimately loses thanks to Jordan's shooting skills. He later saves Molly from drowning after she becomes trapped inside flooding ruins. When asked why he was following them, he tells Molly and Jordan that he came to congratulate them on beating him in the race earlier that day. Apparently, on his planet the people are known for being optimistic and looking on the bright side of things, as expressed by his saying his "ram's horn is always half-full".

Rush shows good-sportsmanship again in Silent Like Spirit. This time he is sitting in the audience to watch the Earth Team's race, and Prince Aikka is seated next to him. When Rush asks Aikka if he has come to support the Earth Team, too, Aikka replies that befriending opponents can lead to disappointment. Rush says nothing back to him.

In The Will to Win, Rush competes against Toros. Rush gains the advantage, but when Toros reveals to him that he was the Crog who led the invasion of his home world Byrus, Rush becomes enraged and tries to board Toros's ship. Toros defeats him by driving his ship into a bridge over the race course, burying Rush in a pile of rubble and knocking him out of the playoffs. Badly injured, Rush reveals to Molly that he had wanted to use the Ultimate Prize to undo the damage that the Crogs had done to his home world, but admits that perhaps he wanted revenge more.

Rush's last appearance is in Make Way! Knowing the Earth Team is racing Toros, Rush escapes from his hospital bed to watch the race. Along with Flint and Marcel, Rush cheers the loudest for them.
